Thanks for the link to the interesting BBFC article. I saw this film on vhs years ago and cannot recall any hard core scenes so it must have been a censored version. I do recall one scene where a very young boy is taken into the bushes by an older man in a cruising area and I would have thought that scene would be problematic these days.
Anyone mentioned Danny Boyle's recent film, 'Trance'? A crap film enlivened by a thoroughly lecherous full-frontal from Rosario Dawson (who Boyle is or was banging, incredibly).
A far better film, 'Bitter Moon', also has some very hot nudity from the beautiful Emmanuelle Seigner.
Oh, and someone's mention of 'The Idiots' put me in mind of 'Antichrist'. Several full frontal scenes, but not for the squeamish. You could throw in several other Von Trier films, actually.

Without wishing to spoil it for anyone who has not seen the film the scene is repeated later and "explained". This reminds me of a full frontal reveal which was basically the whole point of the film. The reveal at the end of The Crying Game.

I remember staying up late to watch that on Channel 4 when I was about 14. Very exciting. Not just the sex but also the theme of the film.

There's plenty of those scenes in indie and arthouse movies. Even some standard Euopean movies have near on hardcore scenes.
Not sure if it's been mentioned but Nadine Velazquez has a full frontal scene at the start of Flight.
I posted in another thread that I don't see the point of sex scenes in movies. They hardly ever add anything to the plot.
If people want to see them then put them on the DVD as extras or put them online.
There are plenty of sites where you can see most of these scenes, whether they are 10 seconds or 10 minutes long.
