The slow pace and the humour was great. But then the ridiculous ending... 0 to 120 in zero seconds. The storyline equivalent of whiplash.

That's an awesome idea! I think, to be honest, the main reason I don't like 7A in general as much is because I loved both series 6 and 7B, so it got sandwiched between two great series imo.

I think this is a really good way to see a group of peoples views on each episode. For example, I for one loved Power of Three, but looking at a lot of these it seems everyone else hated it.
I loved it too, especially when I rewatched it after The Angels Take Manhattan. Yes, not one of my favorite ever resolutions there at the end, but I never felt like that was the point of the episode. For me the point of the episode was the relationship between the Doctor and the Ponds and the way he deals with the normalcy of every day life and IMO it delivered very well there. (just as it did with Kate Stewart).

I loved it too! My boyfriend hates it, says it's too slow, and I agree the ending was a bit of a disappointment but still - the rest outweighed that, I think!
Yeah, I agree there. Was an interesting way of seeing how the Doctor interacts with normality! Perhaps it would have been better as a 2 parter?
Yes! Perhaps 'The Waiting Game' followed by 'The Power of Three'. The ending let the episode down for a lot of people, but it's still one of my favourites.
That's an awesome idea! I think, to be honest, the main reason I don't like 7A in general as much is because I loved both series 6 and 7B, so it got sandwiched between two great series imo.

I loved it too, especially when I rewatched it after The Angels Take Manhattan. Yes, not one of my favorite ever resolutions there at the end, but I never felt like that was the point of the episode. For me the point of the episode was the relationship between the Doctor and the Ponds and the way he deals with the normalcy of every day life and IMO it delivered very well there. (just as it did with Kate Stewart).
