Fans of truly abysmal movies might want to catch this career-low from Paul Newman tonight on BBC2 at 12.35am. It`s worse even than The Swarm (guilty pleasure), another Irwin Allen stinker.

    That was the kind of movie I loved when I was a student - we'd get in plenty of booze, turn the volume down and make up our own dialogue :)

    I remember watching this a few years ago and finding it amazing. But I couldn't remember a thing about it

    This is the volcano film, with lots of stock footage which takes too long to get going.?

    If you were going to build a manned device to lower into a volcano of course you would give it a glass floor ! :D
