I can't find another thread on this so here's the new Tory no-at-all negative election campaign "Tombstone" poster having the crap mocked out of it.

Whoever is doing their PR must be employed by Labour.

    It's the only logical explanation.

They do seem to have abandoned all the "We've changed! Look we're nice and compassionate now." in favour of another Demon Eyes style campaign.

The funny thing is many of those posters could be used regarding Labour and not just the Tories.

For instance: Message to the poor, from beyond the grave: Piss off. :D

I think they're very well done. And they're attacking the party I'm going to vote for too. lol

Yes they are very well done and some are really funny with some sharp wit.

They won't stop me voting Conservative though and they hardly communicate any positive values or policies from the left :D:D

I'll never be a Tory, but I agree, they have always had by far the more sophisticated political advertising. That is hardly surprising though given that they can draw from the elite ranks of the cream of the advertising industry - both due to their cashflow and the bias of professional types who work in that sector to be right wing.

They perhaps overdid it a bit with the whole 'demon eyes' thing on Blair in 97, but they did touch a raw nerve somewhere though, as he stopped doing that big toothy grin of his not long afterwards.

Intuititive, highly pyschological and very very clever.

The Conservatives are nothing if not smart. Unpleasant, but smart.

Oh I don't know about that, I remember at the time Labourites were furious at the poster they were literally foaming at the mouth because of it and called for it to be removed. :D They did, most certainly, hit a nerve with it.

I would hazard a guess that most Labourites probably agree with said poster now. :p

I don't think they're intended to stop you voting Tory if you wish, it's just a bunch of people having fun at their expense.

If they don't communicate positive values or policies that'd be the fault of the original poster which is about as negative as you can get.

Death Tax? The West Wing took the piss out of that one years ago.

They're all very inventive, but I like this one for it's parrot sketch reference.

Don't know how to post a link - luddite. But I love the tombstone one that says 'Here lies an MP' and around it says 'And here, and here, and here......' Clever.

The Tories obviously believe in There is no such thing as bad publicity - however it goes on except your own obituary

Message to Tory Central Command - keep going with the posters, they make you look stupid :D

Not just labourites. I would imagine some independent types would too. Whatever you do, don't say their names five times in front of a mirror though.

In your word, in the cyber world or in the twitterverse you are without doubt correct.

In the real world you're wide of the mark.

Long may they continue though, some of them are just pure genius and really should be commended. I wish I possessed such creativity!

Yes they have indeed. The majority of people won't have taken a jot of notice though.

I don't like the disconnect with politics but there we are.
