This must have been asked a hundred and one times. But I took out a mortgage 10 years ago with RBS. Remortgaged to another company about 5 years ago. Can I put a claim in to the RBS for a ppi claim? How do I go about it or decide what company to use?

Did you actually have PPI? You dont need to go with any company. Here is advice from moneysavingexpert.

Call and ask!
Most banks now have a PPI phone number.

I tried all my past loans, mortages, etc - nothing.

Then my bank sent me a letter about a loan I had forgotten about and that i may wish to claim.
Nothing to shout about but I got £550 back in 10 days - no questions asked (ok - a few questions but not many!)

I had a mortgage with Nationwide 15 years ago but have just put in a succesful claim. Didn't need any details other than my name and date of birth.

Last week i realised i was paying ppi on my credit card, i never look at my statement just how much i need to pay.

I have had the card since 2005 not a huge limit only 1k i asked them to reduce it paying about £8 i think in PPI is it worth claiming it. (if im honest i didnt know i had it as i never take it out with loans etc)

How do i do it apart the money saving expert?

For every £1 you have outstanding on a credit card you pay around 17p in ppi it's well worth giving them a call!
