The Mummy was deemed too scary by the BBC and will require a later time slot.
Guessing The Mummy was the monster we were told couldn't be included in the trailer because it was too nasty.
"by the end of the episode things will never be the same again due to the Doctor’s actions."
Peter Harness: “I still don’t know how people will take it. I’m in this kind of limbo now waiting for people to see it, and I’ve no idea, really I do not know how it is going to go down."
“I’ve never seen the Doctor do something like this before…”
The title suggests a silly romp, but it is not that at all. It’s actually very dark with a lot of deaths
It’s claustrophobic horror.
Agreed. The latter half of this series continues to really interest me - on top of the already solid start (IMO).
Absolutely. The Mummy episode is a definite must see, if only to see how really scary it is. I've thoroughly enjoyed the series so far. Because I've seen the show through the mind of a child watching it for the first time. I wish more fans could do that...;-)
Should have clarified - it was in reference to Series 9.

Kill the Moon Synopsis
In the near future, the Doctor and Clara find themselves on a space shuttle making a suicide mission to the Moon.
Crash-landing on the lunar surface, they find a mining base full of corpses, vicious spider-like creatures poised to attack, and a terrible dilemma.
When Clara turns to the Doctor for help, she gets the shock of her life.
I'm not keen on Gumede, to be honest. Her character on Coronation Street was awful and her performance certainly did nothing to make the character bearable -- quite the contrary in fact. If Clara does leave (I hope she doesn't btw) I'd rather Marsey became the companion. Her credentials are quite impressive.
If she's going (and it will be this Christmas or during series 9 because I don't think they're giving her enough to tempt her to stay longer) then I'm sure they'll announce it soon. It's not fair on Jenna to keep it secret as she'll be wanting to get new jobs AND they'll need to hire someone new for January.

She's the cloned offspring of Rose and River Song grown in a laboratory by the Rani played by Paul McGann!
Yes, there was a brief regeneration panic
What? An extra episode? Why isn't it scheduled?

Can't say I've ever heard of them - hope they will be in good hands.
Best known roles would be (Natalie Gumede) Kirsty in Coronation St and (Fay Marsay) Ann Neville in The White Queen.
Maybe she's playing Clara's and Danny's daughter.
Could even be the Woman in the shop. ;-)
Might explain why Orson wasn't sure if it was a grandparent or great grandparent that time travelled. Maybe they both did.
I know what you mean. She's perfect companion actress material.
She could be a Sontaran or a Hypnotoad

I'm calling BS, the twitter account doesn't seem legit at all.
