As I now live in a very safe Labour seat (my MP massively increased his majority to 10,000 over the Tories even though the seat was one of their top Scottish targets) my vote doesn't really matter but I'd definitely stay with the SNP who are stuck on about 9%.

The swing towards Labour was surprising in some cases.

Being from the central belt in Scotland my vote is irrelevant.

They dont count the labour vote here, they weigh it.

Ditto. Almost half the votes in my constituency were for Labour.

I might be wrong on the exact figures, but didn't the Tories have a 22 point lead a few months ago? I think that Labour were catching them, and maybe another week of campaigning might have seen Brown win. I think he believes that if he behaves in a dignified, statesmanlike manner now, that he will generate more support, and that when the ideologically averse Con/LibDem coalition breaks up, Labour could again gain power, perhaps even with a new leader.

    Sound far fetched?
