For gods sake BBC stop people talking over the medal ceremonies
How incredibly bad mannered can you get
It has been done repeatedly
And will somebody tell gabby you don have to churn out war and peace everytime, just ask then damn question.
You can see the guests dying to answer.
Well said Greg Rutherford about the CWG. What a lovely man.
On that 'Golden Saturday' two years ago I remember watching his long jump on the dedicated red button feed, saw him winning, doing his lap on honour, whilst Farah and Ennis were doing their thing and getting most of the plaudits.
I felt more happy for Greg then than I did Mo Farah or Jess that night, mainly because Greg's was not expected as much. Strange how our media haven't given him the attention that they have afforded the other two, even though he is quite a marketable young man.
Great to see Greg so happy on the winner's podium.

I watched that feed some weeks after the event, and was so touched watching his lap of honour, how he proudly cheered Mo on and stood applauding him.

Yeah, she's not convincing hosting athletics. I'd dump her and bring in someone like Roger Black.

Completely agree!
They should be paying more attention to him than trying to drop Mo and Jess' name into the conversation every 2 seconds when they aren't even competing.
What happened to Roger Black anyway, he disappeared into the TV Bermuda triangle (home also to Sally 'trackside interviewer supreme' Gunnell ) for a while he was flavour of the month presenting sports.

As you can tell, I've only really been watching the Athletics.
The blathering is getting a bit much, even by the Beebs standard.

They have to keep getting their me, me, me moments in, don't they? "I knew I was great when..." rolleyes

I was shouting at my tv too, for them to just be quiet while we saw Greg get his medal. >:(
Rather than blab on, and on, and on, and on, about stuff we could work out for ourselves.
My ears were beginning to hurt with it all, Denise and Paula trying to talk 100 to the dozen.
Yes, I'm now watching a bit of sanity after the athletics love in.
It has been a fabulous day for our gymnasts.
God no, he was a real pain, pulling faces etc.
