Hi
I am getting a coach next week from Derbyshire to Birmingham, haven't done this before (usually get train) going to meet my mum at New Street train station - does anyone live in Birmingham or have they done a similar journey? is it walkable between the two? I am not that familar with the town centre, any guidance appreciated!

Yes it is walkable but uphill

Lots of signposts and if you can't spot a sign to New Street then look for one to the Bullring and you will be heading in the right direction.

Yeah, it's not far. You have to walk through the main centre & as previously mentioned, it's signposted as New Street.

    I'd say 10 minutes, 15 tops.

Thanks! not keen on the uphill part being pregnant but I am sure it'll be ok!

Its not that much of an incline, you could always jump on a bus outside the coach station to Moor Street Queensway and then just walk under the bullring to New st station
