I just caught the tail end of his silly quiz show and he's just so annoying. I also can't bear him on BGMT!

All that aside he's a wooden presenter

He only ever presents low quality tat so I always manage to avoid him.

Exactly. He suits perfectly the garbage that ITV consider entertainment these days.

    I can't stand him

I thought he was OK on Sunday Night at the London Palladium last week

He gives me the creeps, like an even cheaper version of Philip Schofield. Can't stand him, either.

I like Britain's got talent but aside from that, you're right, he presents crap

I think as far as the network is concerned he's seen as a safe pair of hands hence the Palladium Gig the other week
Also to be fair to him the trend on the channel is for everything to be seamless and bland almost as if he's not allowed to have a personality
I've seen him on stage he's actually an accomplished magician a member of the magic circle and very funny and self deprecating and in his case what you see on tv is definitely not what you get off screen
And one last thing I like about him ... A presenter who had kept his private life private .. As far as I know not one warts and all newspaper story or a ten page ok or Hello spread
If they just let him be himself he really would. be a lot better

Awww, I quite like him :) I wouldn't say he's a favourite but if I saw he was presenting something I'd probably give it a go.

Different strokes and all that. If we all liked the same things the world would be a very boring place :)

I think he is lovely and well suited to the shows that he fronts . He has a great sense of humour ,very jolly and never dry .I love him doing the "big stars, little stars" show because he has a great way with the children on that .

Could not stand him at first, and he still grates on certain shows, but he's working well on Catchphrase
He does seem to be this season's "Chosen One", like so many before him who seem to get rammed down our throats for extended periods ( Yes, Bleakley, I'm looking at you..)

Stephen's suited to entertainment shows, he's not suited for serious ones. Different presenters are suited to different types of shows etc.

Mulhern is best suited to Butlins' cabaret off-season :p

People like him are the reason I just can't stand ITV

I watch the BBC most. I find ITV painful to watch and dislike their tacky shows and presenters

He's suitable only for children's tv, in my opinion.

He had a reputation for "wandering hands" back in the day, and i heard a few stories that he didn't like "no" as an answer from women he liked, he has men to choose from now of course.;-)

Can't he make himself disappear as he's a magican:D. I can't stand him on Heart Radio.

He a little sarcastic on Catch Phrase.

Isn't there something on the 'nice/not nice celebrity' thread about Mulhern?

I seem to recall a post about him being quite a nasty person off-screen.

I like him. He's never going to be Jeremy Paxman but he's a good comedic presenter and very good at light hearted entertainment.
