does anyone have any ideas to what this big secret is that is supposed to get revealed as the relationship develops between her and jack?

    No, I don't think Ronnie's a lesbian. Bisexual maybe? But I dont see how that's a big secret..

    I really hope she hasn't got a secret child. What is it with these soaps and the miraculous invention of children / siblings etc etc.

    Jim Branning now has 6 children - yet a few years ago he had 4 at the most!

    Maybe it's that she's the highest paid acrtress in a Soap, which I believe she is.

    I can't see her being on more money than the veterans, she only joined a few months ago.

    I don't think we can say it's a miraculous invention as Ronnie hasn't been in the show that long anyway and we still don't know much about her.

    I've just checked on Wikipedia and it says "dark secret" -that should narrow the field. As she's a cousin of the Mitchell brothers, perhaps she's killed or blackmailed...

    Re her salary - yes, I must admit I found it hard to believe but it was told me by someone who should know.

    I read Sam Janus is on something like £450.000 a year. That is the highest, i think! :)

    The secret surely has to be that she ends up losing all her money due to excessive amounts of plastic surgery.

    Barbara Knox, £171,000, (guaranteed 110 performances per year) Bill Roache, £165,000. Doesn't begin to compare with Sam's.
