He has had a massive platform now, all he needs is his music and be prepared to work hard.

Luke was so gracious, I wish him all the luck, shame he wasn't in the final two with Sam, imo, Luke is far better then Nick.

He has been my favourite all through the lives, unfortunately he's a bit to niche to ever win it but he did good, fitting that he reached the final.

I'm glad he got this far without winning as Nicholas is the new leon and wilk sink into oblivion

Obviously not but he didn't cry or anything, he was very smiley and thankful

The question really was - who will be the less biggest flop of the 3 finalists?

You didn't like him then? ;-

Luke and Olly are worlds apart - Olly does poppy pop, music to bop to if you're a teenager with a crush on him.

Luke is a muscician who has a unique talent that will mature as he does.

It's so sad that the X Factor is such a prescribed show, the format has grown old and cold, and it's time for the producers to throw it up in the air and juggle it about a lot, hopefully coming up with something that is less prescriptive and over-managed. A show that takes real but diverse talent through to the live shows, with judges and mentors that really enjoy the job and work hard with their acts rather than dressing up like mannequins who get paid ridiculous amounts for spouting tripe and doing little else.

This guy will have a good career hopefully.....Luke really shone through, it's a shame that people did not pick up the phone up to vote for him. Seems so down-to-earth and very likable

Luke appears to me to be one of the most authentic acts. Olly is the absolute opposite. Get real.

With Luke you get lobster. Olly its crabs nipping at your feet. :D

He is a lovely lad with a unique voice; I can see him have a very successful future. Shame he went, but it may be for the best as he will have more control over where he takes his music next. Good luck, Luke.
