  Android updates, outside of nexus devices are often baffling. Also I'vr had 2 Samsung phones and 1 tablet and none of them have ever worked with kies.

  Kies is a bit of slow, bloated disaster. Can't believe Samsung are still suggesting that it's in some way useful.

  Never mind kies,
  why is the software interior to the tab 3.surly the tab 3 should have a higher android version to the tab 2???????. But in my case it does not.

  There isn't much difference between the tab 2 and 3 in terms of specs. I'd imagine that the tab 3 will get the update, however it will take time.

  Kies is hideous, buggy bloatware and, if the OS version is working well, I'd rather not upgrade than have anything to do with Kies.
