I think Tarantino has a good knack of making mundane situations or conversations funny and engaging. Some of the dialogue he has given us has been very good.
I agree but editing is his weak point. Django was far too long and his habit of putting himself in his movies is irritating
Oafs that wring their hands and say "It'll ruin the original" need to be taken out and thrashed untill they can understand that the only link between the old and the new is in their tiny little brains. The old version will still be as untouched as the day it was released. If that's the one they want to watch then fine, go do it and STFU, ya morons!

Very true. I thought his scene as one of the Australians in Django Unchained was both baffling and ill-advised, probably the only misstep in that film, which I really liked.
