Yes, Gemma, who was 2 years older befriended them first and then "introduced" Alice to Aaron per MSN - said he was her boyfriends brother. Then Luke was "introduced" to Jess and when they broke up, Connor contacted Jess. Aggghhh why am I paying so much attention to this drivel !

I remember when this story came out and that Jess did an interview on This Morning and I said to my Husband at the time it didn't all add up to me. They were close friends with this Gemma and she then went on to fool them into believing she was 3 DIFFERENT boys who they dated and became intimate with? I don't know if it states in the show (watching it on Sky+ so slightly behind) but the Gemma girl had a learning disability, autism I believe so I feel like she could've benefited more from intensive hospital treatment than being sent to prison. Also after TM interview plenty of people on Twitter were stating that Jess girl was boasting on Facebook that she was now famous and was going to buy lots of new stuff with all the money from her interviews and posted screenshots of it.... She does always act all amateur dramatics Anyway I said to my Husband I think they knew exactly who Gemma really was and they were pretending to other people she was these boys and once they got caught on they dropped her in it and given she has a learning disability she maybe couldn't properly communicate what had happened. Now this Jess has taken the opportunity to get her face everywhere and play the victim.... It's like a lie that went to far IMHO. I actually know a number of girls when they were teenagers used to pass their butch girlfriends off as their "boyfriends" to family members because they didn't want to admit they were gay. They said they would just hide under their hoodies and baggy clothes :eek:
