These sort of comparisons are utterly meaningless.

I've posted fairly detailed explanations of how "budget/monthly payment" plans work on several occasions in the past, but it would appear that most people simply don't want to understand.
I simply can't be bothered to do so again.
In that case, your monthly payment is far higher than it should be, unless :
1. your meter is faulty (unlikely) ...or...
2. you are paying off arrears/underpayments from previous periods ... or ...
3. your neighbour has tapped into your supply ... or ...
4. you have a cannabis farm.
Seems people like to give their meaningless bill figures regardless. :rolleyes:
I live in a 2 bed flat with 1 child and pay by meter. I'd say it works out about £40 a month. Is it more expensive to pay by a meter? It seems some of you are paying less money for probably more electricity than me
