Some people my not have been sure about Billy's sexuality when you have Anthony's character to compare with.
Also Billy was not always happy with Sean's over campness. The John Inman "one liners" often fell flat.
Or was it a case of "Only one Gay in the village"
Please see reason and bring Billy back - preferably without Anthony!
TBH the poor actor doesn't have much to do, putting up with Sean hanging round his neck like an albatross, having to sit in Eileen's grotty house, listening to Sean's ridiculous ramblings in his mock Larry Grayson/John Inman voice must have drive the poor man mad. I expect he is on a break at a health farm to get over Corrie, and I don't blame him!
Either that, or he is having a lie down in a darkened room.
I'm astounded that the actor playing Billy is only 35! Poor lad, he always gets lumped with the dramatic, panto characters. I remember him as Ivan in Emmerdale when he was Paul Lamberts secret lover, who was eventually outed to the whole village and banished by Nicola.
Probably glad to take a break to get away from the awful amateurish pantomime posturing that Cotton/Sean seem to think passes for a half competent acting these days.

Rosebud >:(
He looked far too old for Sean who in real life is actually OLDER than the actor who plays the vicar.
A more age appropriate pairing would be the vicar and the bishop.
