The new series of The Middle starts on 21st Jan, but it has moved from Sky One to Comedy Central.

Is anyone else looking forward to watching this?

Has it really, I wonder why?

Thanks for that though as I've been looking forward to it coming back, I love The Middle, Sue Heck is great. I thought it would just be back on when they showed the next series of Modern Family, whenever that is going to be!

I wondered why they moved it too. I only noticed it as I was fast forwarding through the adverts during The US Office and saw an advert for it.

If only some one else would pick up the rights to raising hope as well.

I always felt that The Middle and Modern Family sat well together, it'll be strange seeing them separate.

At least it'll still be in HD. Unlike when Hot in Cleveland ended up on fuzzy Sony Channel.

I agree, aren't we a whole season behind now?

Strange it's not on Sky 1 as it doesn't look like the kind of thing they'd show on CC, i agree i always thought it and Modern Family sat well together. I'm not complaining though as at least i get to see it somewhere

Slightly off topic, but it makes me chuckle when CC go on about loving 'new' things amid a(nother) friends marathon weekend :D

And what's happened to Modern Family? That seems to have been forgotten about by Sky also.

Good episode, minus the talking over the show at the end.

Loved it. Back to laugh out loud first season good. Still would love to know how/why Sky lost/gave it up.

Have Sky still got Modern Family?

Season and a half now. Really annoying. I don't download tv shows. Getting close to doing it for raising hope although I have no idea how and where u find shows.

Yeah the continuity was ridiculous.. I have a feeling it'll be a regular feature though.

Good episode - especially the way they've managed to keep Axl coming back.

I said near then end that CC had toned down the on screen junk for this show and then they bomb the end of the episode with that voice over. Pathetic channel.

Did Sky 1 drop that show too?

I asked Sky on Twitter, Modern Family is in February, Futurama March but no date for Raising Hope, make of that what you will.

At a guess Sky 1 probably got rid because the ratings maybe aren't as good as they used to be for whatever they pay to air a series here. I still like it but it's nowhere near as good as it used to be though. Not helped by the situation of the kid growing up that plagues many shows like it did Two And A Half Men with Jake. Young Brick was much funnier.

Jake evolved from being a cute young kid to a pot smoking dumb teenager

I love the middle but do think that brick growing up is slightly ruining it. Odd children are funny, but odd teenagers are slightly sinister.
Axl needs to go back to being in his pants for most episodes too

    Agreed

I'm so glad to have it back, i find it genuinely laugh out loud funny. Nice to see Brad in last night's episode, i think he's my favourite character outside of the Hecks

I was surprised to see that Brick's friend (i think he was the one who used to shout instead of talk) has gotten really tall!
