Like to think we can pray that Kenny Ireland will beat this horrible disease!

Benidorm wont be the same without him now sadly!

Hope he get's better soon, Cancer is a horrible disease and there is know one quite like Donald in Benidorm the show will miss his presence but obviously his health must come first. Get well soon Kenny.

All the very best to Kenny
Used to love him in Acorn Antiques as the handyman with the dodgy scotch accent
Made even sillier by virtue of the fact that he is of course scotch 😄

A link. It doesn't say. That's awful news. I wish him well. Such a good actor.

The Garvey family have also left the show. Most of the good originals are gone now.

    Oh what a shame.

One of the few characters that made Benidorm still worth watching.

How terrible! The show will not be the same, Donald and Jacqueline are two of the best characters

We hear about actors passing away all the time , but it isn't very often that I think "oh no what a shame" . I really liked this man in all his roles, my two favourites being of course Benidorm ( it will not be the same without him) and the bartender in Life without George. He was just naturally funny.

It doesn't seem two minutes since it was announced he was ill, I suppose it's better to go quickly and not suffer but it is such a shame.

RIP Kenny and my thoughts go to your family and friends.

Have just found out Kenny Ireland has died, sad news as he was a terrific actor and character in Benidorm. I had hoped he would beat the cancer that he had but sadly it wasn't to be. Benidorm won't be the same without him and i wonder how they will write his death into the series. RIP.

RIP Kenny. One of the funniest characters in Benidorm. There was a time news like this was on the top of the front page on DS, now however this isn't the case. A news story and tribute would be good. DS please take note.
