I checked out her discography recently and although none of it really caught me, she is a true talent and a brilliant songwriter.

Yes! One of my favourite singers as a solo artist and with Fleetwood Mac she's produced some brilliant works in my opinion. For solo album it would be between Bella Donna and The Wild Heart (the song Nightbird is a favourite of mine). Of course I love the likes of Dreams and Rhiannon but also others like Angel an underrated gem from Tusk, though that is an underrated album

There have been a few truly distinctive female vocalists and Stevie Nicks is one of them. Brilliant singer and performer.

Whilst she has a better voice, I prefer Christine Mcvie for overall song Quality.

    Some good songs of hers are;
    Rooms On Fire https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OgetKvBAiOk
    Planets of the Universe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KWw4Qjy5-fk
    Moonlight https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ri-euoXzpIA

I really got into Stevie Nicks this year. She's now definitely one of my favourite voices in music along with Lana Del Rey and Alison Goldfrapp.

I love Stevie Nicks a true talent totally in control of her image and music and a real role model in the true sense (lets not mention the cocaine :p).

Dreams whilst she has so so many others I love that song as when you think of the subject behind it, it retains a truly hunting resonance that stays with you. And that's her brilliance for me she is at once otherworldy and ethereal but at the same time so human.

I love Seven Wonders and Silver Springs with Fleetwood Mac.

Then she had Rooms on Fire and Edge Of 17 as a solo artist.

And of course many many more

Try listening to "leather and lace" from the album Bella Donna. Stevie at her haunting best.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5KRPoAiTN0 - When she talks on this she sounds incredibly desirable. A great demo version of Rhiannon.

Sounds like we have similar tastes in female singers' voices..

Bella Donna is my stand-out favourite album on Stevie's

I used to hate the sound of Stevie Nicks voice, I have completely swung the other way now, really love to listen to her songs.

Mainly on the well know favourites like Dreams etc, but I watched a documentary featuring her recently and I want to have a listen to some of the Nicks/Buckingham stuff they did years ago.

There's some sort of argy-bargy between Buckingham and Nicks that's preventing a CD release of their eponymous album. Each party seems to be blaming the other for the impasse.

Sorcerer (written by Stevie) - Marilyn Martin (from the 'Streets of Fire' soundtrack) Stevie is in the mix. I always really liked the voices on this.

I'm a huge Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks fan.
Although I'm not big on any of Stevie's more recent solo material I think her songs from the 70s and 80s are superb! She seemed to write better songs when she was younger in my opinion.
Anyway I would highly recommend the album Buckingham Nicks for anyone who hasn't heard it.
My favourite solo Stevie albums would be Bella Donna and The Wild Heart.
