Sky Sports 1 3 and 4 in pubs has changed transponders from 12.226H to 11.469H also moved from 12.226H is Sky 1 Sky 2 Sky 3 and FOX News leaving the transponder empty could this transponder possibly going to be converted to DVB S2
And that seems to indicate Northern Tarts & Essex Slappers are likely to have their licenses terminated as well for persistent & serious licence breaches
They have increased the res and bitrate now- 3Mbps 720x576, now to get onto Vintage TV....
The transponder was full whilst showcase+1 was still on so aside from a brief period at full rate last week presume they had to split the bandwidth whilst both channels were still going out.
Remember the early days when The Box and Kiss etc were not in a good quality, until they changed the playout systems
Yes it's been increased but as you say above there playout system means the videos still look poor compared to say MTV or The Box. But it's no worse than Clubland TV is.
The Chart Show channels are decent but the bitrate let's Bliss down and The Vault. Anybody remember Bubble Hits? I'm sure it ran a smaller frame but looked very good I assume they had very good playout facilities?

Pics or it didn't happen
Absolutely true - it was saying that.
I was joking It's funny though...
Sad really, this PQ is really offputting
So far there is little screen clutter and the tracks available seem to be varied and cater for most tastes
Unlikely - we have no launch date, no obvious tests for them and we are fast approaching the epg Xmas/New Year freeze
and 'Showcase +1' has been removed from 216 in the EPG.
'TMTN1' (912) and 'TMTN2' (959) were removed from the EPG on Friday 19th Nov.
Both are still broadcasting on 11.527 V.
PQ seems fine to me
'DBN' has been removed from EPG 595.
Still broadcasting off the EPG on 12.523 V.
"50882" was relabelled as 'WTF'.
Might be something to do with this story:

"4642" has now been relabelled as 'Nat Geo Wild'.
'National Geographic Wild' has now changed transponders, moving from 12.188 H to 12.304 H.
and from the horse's mouth

"53215" now showing audio & visual tests for 'Universal' (Ireland?).
And that seems to indicate Northern Tarts & Essex Slappers are likely to have their licenses terminated as well for persistent & serious licence breaches
That report looks like some interesting reading - will save it for later
