Ignoring for the moment the party you currently support. If you were in a position to create a political party - what would it generally stand for and why?
For me
Pro European Market, but not pro the current EU
Small State.
Low Taxation
Public Health System paid for out of taxation, but not necessarily government run.
Public Education System paid for out of taxation, but not necessarily government run.
Lower immigration, abolish most ICTs with only 100-200 available in any given year.
Tax breaks for Training, and subsidies for Apprenticeships - with bonus should the person be offered a permanent job and in place for at least 1 year.
Increase the lower tax bracket to NMW and for subsequent years the NMW must be no lower than the lowest tax bracket.
A right to be self-employed, working like the current Agency Regulations - where a person engaged in a self-employed capacity must certify at the start of the engagement that they are entering a self-employed arrangement.
A General policy of encouraging non-standard (as in not banks) loans and investment e.g. Crowd funding.
Railways to be re-organised so that Railway companies run both the rolling stock and look after the track - EU rules require that those tracks be open to any company but that should not be a problem.
Tougher regulation of privatised monopolies.
