I thought us Who fans could make a thread contributing all the moments in DW history that have made us laugh, cry, smile bitter-sweetly or curse at the writers for making the worst decision in the history of the series.
So post a vid, or just comment to say what moment has made you say 'this is the reason I love Doctor Who.':D

(This is supposed to be a funny video. I'd recommend watching the number two and number one moments. Too funny.)

Also love the scene from wedding of River Song where the Doctor learns of the Brigadiers death, goes to his own death, and then we see footage from impossible astronaut, great music
3. GO TO YOUR ROOM!
2. People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but *actually* from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint - it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly... time-y wimey... stuff.
1. Basically... Run.
(Funny they're all moffat lines. Says something about my tastes.)
Why are you laughing? It's the saddest moment in Who history! Why is everyone laughing?!?!?
Obvious candidates: That Caves of Androzani cliffhanger, farewell to Susan, It's a Fez. I wear a Fez now... fezzes are cool., 'Do I have the right?' from Genesis of the Daleks, the unlimited rice pudding of Remembrance of the Daleks, anything with Patrick Troughton.
(But the best ones were 1 to 2 and 7 to 8)
9 to 10 and 10 to 11 for me:)
best depiction of mad scientist villain ever..

Nothing in ze vorld can stop him now!
Two's regeneration at the end of The War Games
Jo's last scene in The Green Death
That Four/Davros virus scene in Genesis Of The Daleks
Five/Tegan/Turlough scarpering from Gallifrey at the end of The Five Doctors
Six when he thought Peri died at the end of Mindwarp
Seven/Ace's last scene in Survival
Eight/Grace snogging in The Movie
Nine/Rose's 'earth' speech in Rose
Ten/Donna's last scene together in the TARDIS in Journey's End
Eleven's scene in the TARDIS with Amy in The Eleventh Hour
I agree 100%.

... forgive me - I was only young at the time.
Ah come on! Everyone is like 'saddest moment ever. The crew were crying, we had to cut it because everyone was so emotional. It will go down in history as one of the greatest moments ever. Everyone says it was their favourite moment in the history of Who etc etc.'
And then it's Martha. And that Alien fish head. Cracks me up every time.
And then moment number two. 'This is the day I died. This is where I died. My last journey ever blah blah.' And then the Doctor goes 'oh no, she's safe!' haha.

A scene that really shows how powerful silence can be too, as opposed to music.
I liked the character and for me, shows that she can act but just didn't have good enough material
And then the departure of my favourite companions. So brilliant
Just two of many many brilliant ones
-"You've given the order for your own execution- and one whacking great kick up the backside for the Silence! You've just raised an army against yourself! And now, for a thousand generations, you're going to be ordering them to destroy you every day. How fast can you run? Because today's the day the human race throw you off their planet. They won't even know they're doing it. I think, quite possibly the word you're looking for right now is......run!"
The defeat of the Silence- simply brilliant.

Never actually seen either of these scenes.
"You were on Skaro!"
Brought all the Genesis of the Daleks memories flooding back.
