DOI DVDs - Will they bring out a new one with highlights from all 9 years..?

After a very miserable Sunday evening without DOI, I am seriously contemplating buying some DOI DVDs. Has anyone heard of a new one being released, to cover all 9 years of the show's history?

If not, does anyone already own any of the existing DVDs (e.g. series highlights or tour ones) and would you recommend them?

Thanks in advance!

    There are 'highlights' DVD's from Series 1, 2, 3 and 5.

They didn't do a Series 4 DVD - they have an 'extra's' bit on the series 5 DVD featuring Ray, Donal, Michael, Todd and Coleen.

I think all the tours have been put onto DVD?

I expect there will be one this year with it being the farewell tour.

I have them all so when I get time I'm going to re-watch them all again :)

    I also have this:

Thanks for this - just don't want to buy loads of individual show and/or tour highlights DVDs if they're going to bring out a final one for all 9 series.

I'm guessing you'd recommend the ones that are already out though?

Wait and see if they do bring a 'best of' DVD out. If not, and you're a fan of the show, then yes the series DVD's are good. I can only vaguely remember series 1 (I can only remember Gaynor and Bonnie:o ), and didn't see 2 and 3, but I still enjoy watching them.

You can buy a boxed set:

I totally agree about missing it so followed Patti-Anns Amazon link and from there had a quick look at some of the live tour videos and they seem to have very good reviews so personally I think I will invest in some of those for the time being - although I wasn't thrilled to see that Biggins is one of the judges! I havnt found a boxed set of those yet (but only had a quick look) they are not expensive individually though.

Thanks for all this Patti-Ann, especially the trouble you've gone to posting links and looking things up on Amazon :)

Think I'll wait a couple of months so the tour's done and to see if one final DVD of all 9 series is released - still suffering withdrawal symptoms from the show though!

Yesterday I watched the 2007 tour DVD. Dan does a beautiful solo performance flying on silks :)

For those that don't have the tour DVD's.

    Tours 2007, 2008 and 2009 all have 'extra's'.

Tours 2010 and 2011 just have 'play' and 'scene selection'.

I don't have tour 2012 so have sent for it from Amazon :)

My 2012 tour DVD has arrived so watched it earlier :)

Kyran (judge) thought Matthew was as good as Ray and Chris combined :o

Personally I think Ray and Chris are better

Bolero was Chico v Matthew, and Matthew won ;-)

    'Extra's' include Bolero's by:

    T & D
    Matthew and Nina
    Jorgie and Matt

    plus Chico and Jodeyne rehearsing

Then 'It's a wrap' and 'outakes'
