i had to unplug the box several times because ntl is rubbish, does that count?

and i just had a look at the virginmedia pricing. to get my combo it seems i would have to pay 15% more.

looks like a loser branson. good job your smile cons enough people initially or there would be a lot people saying they smell coffee

Forced update done yesterday on 2110 worked, Stoke area, full guide now after having only now and next half the time.

Dissapointed you cant re-arrange channels so on the mini guide scrolling left and right you have to go through every channel.

    Favourites far better layout though.

Done the update here in Bournemouth on Samsung 2110, the EPG is quicker but it is now only a few hours into the future, there is no +24 hours or -24hours. I suppose that's how it is quicker as there is less demand on the memory of the machine it can keep the few hours in memory rather than having to dump it if you jump forward or backward by 24 hours.

Since midnight... confess... have you rebooted your set top box to see if that speeds up the EPG upgrade?

Had to. It was set to 890 and I had no channels available. Took a reboot to get them back.

If that was my VM upgrade then it hasn't worked as I'm still on TW.

Just forced an update on my Samsung 2110 and got the new Virgin software.

I'm ex-NTL on Bromley, in Ashtead Surrey.

(As I am on the TV XL [ex Family Pack] I now get free TV Choice on demand [what was TV Hits], yay!)
