Blimey. I see that The Mail reckon that we could move for Iniesta, in January.

Wouldn't be a bad signing, but I'm not sure that he'd be able to oust Cleverley.

If Iniesta was to come to the premier league, he wouldn't go to United. He'd probably choose Arsenal or Man City.

I don't think that he will ever play here for a moment, but just why do you hold those views, about him ending up at Arsenal or City ahead of ourselves?

Manchester United play defensive football. It is not the kind of football Iniesta is fond of.

    "Defensive Football", since when???

We are an attacking team, and he would suit us very well, not that I think he will ever play for anyone else (at the top level) execpt for Barca though.

Do Man United really play free-flowing football like Arsenal and Man City ? Let's be honest about it.

Do Man Utd really play defensive football, which is what you said.

Because they couldn't afford Allardyce, or Pulis?

Because Moyes has the same philosophy as Ferguson.

    Ah, right.

Yes, I'd forgotten how defensive United were, under Ferguson.

10 men behind the ball every game, wasn't it?

It's obviously only a matter of time before Stoke win multiple Premier League titles, with the best goal difference in the league.

I remember watching United vs City last year. United was playing at home but they were literally defending most of the game and trying to hit City on the counter attack. If that's not defensive football, I don't know what is.

The team that's scored the most goals in the entire premier league history is defensive? Sounds about right lol

    One game.

Why not include all of the other, dour, stultifying defensive performances?

For example, the 8-2 and 6-1 wins against Arsenal. 7-1 vs. Roma. 4-3 and 5-1 against City. 3-3 against Barcelona and Liverpool. 5-3 and 6-2 against Spurs. Heck, he kept it up right to the end, with that mind-numbingly dull 5-5 draw with West Brom, in his last game.

I watched United vs Arsenal the other day. Guess who had most of the possession?

Well I heard it all now!

We are the polar opposite of a defensive minded club, we are an attacking club by nature, it is just in our DNA.

Who won the game, more importantly?

And I didn't think that Ferguson was managing us, in that game.

A player who cost that much should have an immediate impact.

It seems to me that Fellaini was a panic buy.

Price is irrelevant as it not Fellaini's fault how much we chose to pay for him.

I will agree about the panic buy aspect though.

Moyes could have signed Fellaini in July if he really wanted the player that much & he would have paid less too.

That's exactly my point Jim. United don't mind winning without style.
