Why haven't they realised it's fake?

Helen has a pass to the final, but was evicted before the final?
There was no crowd noise?
They both left via the diary room?
It's the final week? Would they really leave just 4 of them for 4 days?

I don't know, maybe because there haven't been any secret room twists yet so they probably think there isn't one!

I know, it is rather odd. I also thought that, as PHMs, Christopher and Ash would have been the ones who chose Helen to 'leave', or else there's no point in them being PHMs. However, it looks as if they know nothing of it, or else they act really well!!

not all evictions are on crowd nights
bb contract likely says anything can change at any time

evictions have been via the diary room before

and it is the final week and they knew they had too many people in the house for just the friday...

I think they know it's fake but are humouring Big Brother, the housemates are as bored as the viewers with the bollocks, they may as well go along with it and maybe BB will just get bored themselves and stop acting like kids

Mark and Winston leaving would have convinced them that 2 could go at anytime.

With the finishing line & £100k in sight they just want to believe it's true. I'd say deep down they know it's not.

Why on earth would Ash agree to evict Helen though?
I just can't see how he'd realistically do that?

Is it a ploy by BB to see if anything happens between Ash and Ashley when the other two are not there?

My understanding of what's meant to have happened is that Helen was voted out by the viewers & that Ash & Christopher only decided to evict Chris.

That's why I put 'leave' ... I figured they knew it was a task as PHMs they chose to send her to the secret room, not to evict her but to fake evict her. Obviously they seem as surprised as the others, so that isn't the case. I just wonder what exactly WAS asked of them as PHMs when they went up to the DR on Big Brother's request ... I had assumed, until I saw how they were upon her fake eviction, that they had been party to it but, as I said, they would have to be pretty good actors if they did know.

Or is it to see if the divide would get on in Helens absence?

I think they must realise it's fake.
There's no way the HMs would really be allowed to evict someone in the final week.
The fans of that person would go mad.

They maybe think there might be a reward for all if Helen and Chris aren't found out?

:)That's possible... Equally, it's possible it's one twist too many, and they're all past caring.

They probably have. Remember the year where there was a "gorilla" in the house? When, I think it was, Maisy came out she said that all the housemates knew that the gorilla was a bloke in a costume. Didn't fool them for a second. But Big Brother simply edited out all the bits which would let the viewers in on that.

None of the evictions they THOUGHT were fake WERE fake. I think that's why they don' think these are, either.

It will have been discussed in the house with the producers. Goes to show how OTT the manipulation is this year as in a "normal" year it would've been.

You can remove the question mark. That assessment validates itself.

It might have been just a teeny bit more interesting if Asleigh had been 'evicted' which meant both Helen and Ashleigh were holed-up in the secret room :)
