Oh dear - looks like it kicked off on Facebook over the weekend, but I was far too busy with gardens of time & Castleville to notice! :D Is Debs Jayne going to try to quote some sort of internet law - I believe Alfie is the expert in that field due to unfortunate circumstances in the past.

Hahaha, don't remind me:D I know more about internet law than I ever thought I'd need to after last year's little hiccup with a rogue member of the CoC - and I think we're all pretty up to date on exactly what does and doesn't breach copyright as well.;)

Anyway, back to the Chawners, the gift that keeps giving - Bio TV and Director Dan have assured me personally (via the medium of twitter, they didn't come round my house) that all 3 series of Chawnervision will be repeated in May. Book your annual leave now, folks, and buy in the Sambuca and sausages.

Hopefully it'll be a back to back chawnermarathon like it was over Christmas 2011. Woohoo.

None of us can link, we have all been culled:cry::D

Just search for The Chawners and it will bring up a myriad of support groups and not-so-supportive groups for Britain's Fattest Family™.

I am later starter in the delights of the Chawners on Bio and have only seen 3 Episodes, 6, 7 and 8 of the last series. By reading this forum I hear talk of this being Series 3, does that mean there another another 2 full series to watch? How many episodes are there in Series 1 and 2?

This is like Christmas for me :D:D:D:D:D

    Thanks

There is Lorraine Kelly's Big Fat Challenge, 6 episodes, filmed in 2009 and aired in 2010, then another series of 6 episodes, again with LK, filmed in 2010 and aired in 2011. And finally, Chawners Last Chance, filmed in 2011 and aired in 2012, and 8 episodes long.

I don't honestly think there's any more mileage in any more chawnervision - I would be happy just to watch the original 2 programmes (I didn't like CLC, it made me feel disturbed and uncomfortable) and enjoy all the random and completely unintentional moments of hilarity.

I know the Chawners want a fourth series, but doing what? They remain fat, they remain mostly out of work, they remain incredibly unhealthy and utterly deluded. I can't see any TV company taking them on, and I doubt if Bio will risk wasting any more cash on them.

They may feature for a few seconds in a future documentary "Where Are They Now" though.

OK - who put this horse's head in my bed?

I am keeping the curtains shut and the doors locked today, I have no idea who Debs Jayne is and I don't want to - she sounds terrifying...

I for one am going to mend my ways and post nothing but loveliness about the Chawners from now on.

Uhm...I liked that bit in the show when Sam wasn't crying.

That's all I can think of for now but I am sure I can come up with something complimentary to say one day.

Alfie thanks a million for the update!

I completely understand your feeling re the showing making you uncomfortable! I only saw 3 episodes and am still not sure if it was real!

I heard that they were not paid for the show?! Surely not! It's one thing everyone knowing you are disgusting slobs, IF, you are getting paid mega bucks for it! But to be paid nothing makes no sense!

They got paid 'in kind' so it wouldn't muck up their benefits, apparently. If you add up the cost of all the freebies they were given - gym equipment, holidays, personal trainers, counselling, boot camps, etc etc - they were given thousands and thousands of pounds worth of help, but they couldn't actually receive a wage because when the filming stopped, they would be stuck with having to pay their own rent and council tax, poor souls.

Dunno. Possibly a Chawner lovechild, conceived before the first Big Fat Wedding? Oh no, that was Son Of Chawn, they only had three children.

I have no idea who she is, but it seems she is a Chawnerfawner extraordinaire - so good on her, someone's got to support them unconditionally. My support for the family waxes and wanes - it's currently waned after the last series.

I think most people have gone off them since the last series Alfie, they were shown in a completely different light - it seemed to me, while Sam was off at Wellsprings, everything was really positive about Sam and pretty negative on the rest of the family. However, once she got back and fell back into old habbits (lieing about what she eats& what she's doing), the gloves came off.

Then again, Auds rant about immigrants & Phils comments about men working in flower shops were all their own doing. No amount of editing would have helped there.

Yes, they shot themselves in the foot in the last series. Phil's arrogance in turning down the job at the florist, created specifically for him, so it wouldn't "muck up his money" was unbelievable. And Emma announcing at the end that she was giving up on healthy eating and going back to eating chocolate - did he ever actually stop? Because she's not lost more than a few pounds over three years, and even without putting much effort in, she could have lost a couple of stone.

They are past their sell-by date now, their 15 minutes of fame was extended beyond their wildest dreams, but it's over now. Tarah, Chawners, it's been a blast.

Im a member of both groups, never post in either of them as only joined to see what was going on as phil seems to rant a lot about nothing in particular
after watching the second and the last series i really dont know what to make of them, im on the fence to be honest, i neither love them or hate them lol

i was on the love them page last night and the admin (not that debs) put up a post saying she was distressed as had clicked on the the link to here that someone else had posted and she said that her full name had been used on here in a number of posts and that was unnecessary. I do agree with that one guys as everyone on here has usernames and to put on someones full name for all to see was a bit below the belt, probably unintenional but never the less i know i wouldnt be happy either.
This thread IS funny, and im sure people love it and hate it too lol :)

I've come off there altogether now. I had both my real name and another fake one and it was too much to keep up with both. My fake name got sussed and I got banned from the 'Love them...' group so I thought it best to pull out.

I agree with you about posting FB names on here. There are people here who know my fake name on the Chawner pages, but not my real one, and I agree with you in that it's not really fair to post people's real ones and I've tried to avoid doing that, but on the other hand, 'Lady Jane's Ghost' did post a real name ^ and she's supposed to be one of them, so in a way it's a bit of a pot/kettle/black situation.

well if your daft enough to post your own name then its your own fault if its repeated in a thread, the admin girl is appauled at her privacy being breached and i think she is going to close it down herself!!!!

    On Twitter #chawners:
Here's a petition to get the #Chawners back on TV. 200 signatures. Majority are pisstakes. I've signed about 20 times

So it's not only on here that people are ripping the pi$$ out of the 'petition'.

Even at the start of series 3 I felt sorry for Emma and was willing Sam on to lose the weight and make something of herself. In the first two series I felt sorry for Aud and her ailments and Phil for having to look after her. Now I know Emma isn't interested in help only fame, Sam says everything but her prayers, Aud's ailments are either due to being fat or down to laziness or even completely untrue and Phil is a controlling bully with nothing but cruel comments for Aud. if she needs round the clock care why is he off on day trips with the girls leaving her alone? If he faces amputation from self induced diabetes why not stop eating crap? If he thinks Aud stinks why not wash her and get her a commode? I don't hate them or wish harm to them but they are so deluded about their life I can't like them either. They have been shown to be rude, uncooperative, nasty liars and. I amount of bad editing can make that up. I'd still like to see Sam and Emma succeed in weight loss and getting a job and a future - maybe I'm deluded myself. If Bio do anything else it needs to be those two having a flat, going to an adult education course and having a social life but I can't see Phil allowing that. He was moody enough when they went to France and acted like a spoilt child when they went for a walk on holiday and also when Sam was out looking for work. He didn't listen either when told he needs to allow them a life and if they make a mistake be there for them as a parent. Aud tries but doesn't listen and won't accept what she's become. Her treatment from Phil doesn't seem to bother her either which is a shame. I'd be appalled if Mr D said I smelled bad but how low do you have to be to wet yourself and sit in the puddle?

As for coming on here and threatening people I can't believe anyone would bother. It's not like we're sitting shaking worried about it. I believe if you read the rules for DS you can't set up an account to make threats anyway. There's a lot worse said on Twitter than here so is this little gang of fawners going to go warn people on there as well? Good luck with that.

Quite a few of the sigs on the petition have been culled, and the last Chawnerporn episode has gone with it. :(

Debs Jayne's going to have her work cut out if she's going to get all the fakes, and if she does there really will be only 20 or so genuine signatures. :D

    UPDATE!!!!
THIS PETITION IS BEING DELETED TODAY, THANK YOU TO ALL THE PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO CHOSE TO TRASH IT, YOU HAVE A LOT OF TIME ON YOUR HANDS TO DO THIS. NOT TO WORRY THOUGH, THIS HAS MADE ME ALL THE MORE DETERMINED TO MAKE ANOTHER MORE SECURE ONE YOU CAN'T TRASH. ALL OF YOUR IP'S ARE STORED IN MY ACCOUNT BY THE WAY EACH TIME YOU SIGN, AND HAVE BEEN RECORDED, IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO POST THIS IN DIGITAL SPY PLEASE GO AHEAD, THAT HAS BEEN REPORTED TOO.

Hahahahah! :D What a deluded person she is!
