  7) Portuguese Premier Division

  ok I know english league 1 prob wouldnt make most peoples top ten but it is very competitive

  I don't know enough about many leagues to give a top 10 and indeed know very little about leagues outside Europe, so apologies to Brazil ( whih I believe has more top players staying in it now than previously ) etc..

  1. Bundesliga - Germany
  2. Premier League - England
  3. La Liga - Spain
  4. Serie A - Italy

  Im impressed by anyone who can give an informed opinion on this tbh. I don't ever watch live games from any more than a small handful of leagues. If people are watching Brazil and Turkish football in enough depth to know where they sit relative to Portugal that is a hell of a lot of football to watch.

  The Bundesliga is definitely the best league in Europe, far more competitive than the Premier League and La Liga, the latter is only third in my list as it's simply not competitive enough, the difference between Real/Barça and the rest is simply too big. I've made my list based on overall level and competitiveness, so not just on the top teams. My top 10 in Europe (can't judge outside of Europe, as I don't know enough about them):

  Premier League
  La Liga
  Ligue 1
  Serie A
  Eredivisie
  Championship
  Russian League
  2.Bundesliga
  Portuguese League
