Me too. All looks good to me. There are quite a lot of changes though, so it all feels a little alien and new right now, but that's quite a good thing as it's given me an excuse to play around with the phone a bit more. Since I got the iPhone 6, and the battery life on that has been so good, I've somewhat neglected my Nexus. This will get me back into it a bit!
Interesting, I haven't found it that big a change yet. Main points of note for me are:
- The handling of notifcations seems an improvement, although I haven't road tested them that much yet.
- The interuption settings which were switched on by default are of no use to me, but easily switched off.
- Battery saver option may be useful - time will tell.
- Could have done without the extra swipe now needed before I get to the unlock screen, but not a big deal.
- Not a huge fan of the white in the app screen, but again not a big deal.
It sounds trivial but I just despise the new soft key icons. I despise icons that give no clue as to the function. I mean how does a simple circle equate to the home key ? why does a square mean recently opened apps ? The closed triangle how does that signify back ?
Just stupid....
'Circles' means going nowhere - so you stay at home.
Square - a walk around the block, your block of opened apps.
GUI changes are done for change sake, and in the history of things, it is by far the cheapest way to tart up the next OS so as to look like something new.
Has anyone with a Nexus 5 noticed that charging seems to take quite a bit longer on Lollipop?
charging is very quick for me.
it tells you how long until full charge on the lock screen, and it's always just over an hour for me. i'm using the supplied LG charger though.
I am using the original charger too. I am on 49% right now and it's showing 1 hr 51 mins until full. Normally I probably wouldn't say that it is overly slow, but it was definitely quicker for me on KitKat.

i plugged mine in last night when it was at 12% and it said it would take around 1hr 40-ish to fully charge.
Yes I could only draw 0.91 amps under lollipop, Pretty sure I used to be able to draw nearly 2.
It is possibly awaiting battery calibrating from a couple of charges.
Drawing a full 10 watts when battery is above 60% would mean very rapid battery quality erosion. Obviously, if the battery not defined as calibrated then it has to charge at 5 watts for safety reasons.
Alternatively, if they have had too many battery failures at 10 watts, maybe they have cut down the charge on old phones for battery longevity.

Despite me being the only one actually bothered
Please quote your device and sky go app version number. Thanks.
works for me too
Nexus 5
Android 5.0
Sky Go 3.4.3.0
it's the Sky+ app that needs some work on Lollipop.
it loads, but can crash and the background is corrupt.
That's the frustrating thing, those who don't care get them before those that do.
but those who care enough could easily update it manually.
Where's the gallery?
you must have a defective nexus 5 then. no laggy-ness for me on mine.
removed. you now use "photos".
Is your phone rooted chenks?
Do a Factory Reset.
no, it is stock.
Why is it necessary to do a factory reset, does that clear the system cache?
of course it does!
it wipes it as if you can just taken it out the box.
Ah right that's good to know that there's no slow down on stock and that the sky go app appears to be ok.
