well done the daily show

I have to say I take my hat off to John Stewart and the daily show for honouring David frost at the end of the show. A man who set the way for shows like this, not afraid to take the mik out of politics and will be truly missed

    I'd like to echo this. The Daily Show do this regularly (certainly in the case of past guests) but it was nice to see them take the time to acknowledge him (though if was a little odd to see the graphic didn't refer to him as Sir David).

    I don't think titles carry across to other countries. I could be wrong but it would just come down to preference if they used it or not.

    American broadcasters only use our honorifics when it suits the story.

    Much like we ignore their convention of saying President Clinton, President Bush etc long after they've left office. It's a two way street! :p
