I missed this when it was originally on but I've just watched all of the episodes back to back and I thought it was excellent - a great cast with some excellent writing.
I feel that what is happening at the moment is beyond satire. Nigel Farage has resigned - oh, no he hasn't. Chuka is standing for Labour leader - oh, no he isn't.
If you read Dan Hodges' account of the Labour campaign with the press officer just screaming and screaming at the TV screen when Ed M. appeared with his stone, it make "The Thick Of It" seem tame.

Maybe not possible if all the teams had broken up on the Thursday.
How about aides/breifs for the referendum or next election? or would it be too similar to The Thick of It?
