That couple were completely loopy about their pet hippo Jessica.
It was a fascinating programme but it was the couple who astounded me more than the spoiled large lump of a hippopotomus.
I am so glad we don't have smellivision. The house must stink.
I laughed when the hippo decided to rest on the couple's bed and it broke. :D

    They're quite mad and will probably stay that way right up to the time it eats them, like those idiots who buy big ugly dogs and then burst into tears on the local news when their kids get savaged.

    Hippos are vegetarians.

    One could cause an injury, or death, but they wouldn't eat anyone.

    According to another earlier C5 documentary hippos have been known to turn cannibal. I don't believe anything with teeth that big is a vegetarian.:eek:
