The Chase...just a run-of-the-mill quiz format, and not a patch on the originality of Pointless.

Barbecues...why would anyone enjoy eating their meal while batting away wasps every 30 seconds

TV singing talent contests ( XFactor, The Voice etc)...they all sound the same; either shouty ( a la Katy Perry ) breathy ( a la Ellie Goulding) or vocally gymnastic in a ridiculous fashion ( a la Maria Carey). Singing bores me these days. No individuality.

    Falseness, appearance-wise.
False nails, false eyelashes, false skin colour, false tits. What the hell is wrong with our natural state ?!

Paying mega bucks for Costa/Starbucks/whatever coffee. I think for a lot of people it's all about snob value and posing with the cup. They take bloomin' ages to make it as well.

    Fake tan

    Soap operas

Baked beans (like the beans but not the sauce, bleurgh).

    Pot noodles.

    Greggs - prefer independent bakeries.

Nandos - been around for ages, don't get why they've suddenly become such as big deal.

Package holidays - hate the way big companies absolutely jam you into the plane and treat you like a herd of cattle.

The X Factor - same old, same old, year in year out, basically a stick to formula singing competition with any sparkle or spontaneity produced out

One Direction - Annoying, untalented band who rely on silly teenage girls in order for their music to sell.

TOWIE - Give a bad name to Essex.

McDonalds, Wetherspoons, Frankie and Bennys, Nandos etc. I don't understand why people spend money on average food.

    X-Factor type shows.

Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings.

People getting offended by things like comedians and TV programs.

Fake tan- what's the point. You look orange. Just go outside and tan normally.

I don't get the fascination with tanning full stop. As soon as we get a bit of sun, people will say "oh, I must get a nice tan" and I just think "why?" But yeah, fake tans generally look awful.

Talking on the phone. I would rather text.
    Most sport.
Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit or Harry Potter. I've never bothered with any of them.
Most "popular" music post-2000, or even post-1990.
    Gyms.
    Brand loyalty.

Selfies, talent shows, and people saying 'Can I get...' when asking for something.

Actually the last one is more of a gripe. But it is popular and I simply don't get it.

As for 'Can I Get', I've got something for you. Call it a techno pressie.

Pouting... I'm sick of seeing the younger members of my friends and family pouting in photos!! They'll look back when they are older and they will have no photos of them looking normal and smiling. They will be cringing!... plus they all pose like they are models!!

talent shows, according to some I am weird for not liking X Factor ??

Mrs Brown's Boys. ... watched one episode, utter crap. I don't need to watch it anyway, as the same people, every time it is on, quote every line on Facebook, along with PMSL...

    Keith Lemon

Fake tans, nails, teeth and bird nest hair.

I hope that's not some kind of dig at me/ the thread as this is only meant as a bit of harmless fun, its hardly to be taken 100% seriously.

There's always people on here who feel the need to make snide comments

It was a (failed) attempt at irony.

Some people seem to spend their time railing against the things they don't like/get/understand, rather than getting on with enjoying the stuff they do like. I don't understand that mindset

Elvis Presley. I think he was a decent entertainer but nowhere near the musical demigod he's made out to be.

People who complain/boycott companies not paying tax even though it's legal, because the Government made it so.

People who get offended on other peoples behalves.

Ye with you on Apple. I understand why people did think they were amazing, there were some ground breaking products that came from them. But now, with so many other companies that do the same or better it just seems like mindless brand devotion, something I have always been irritated by. My personal opinion is that Apple's days of being a leader of innovation seem to be long gone, now they just milk it for as much cash as they can get away with.
