    I know I'm being quite presumptuous here, but the buzz with these recent episodes has really died down since an old guy took the part again.

    I think the opposite. I feel it links it to classic who nicely.

    Why does she love him?
    She's only spent a few hours with him and he seems to have the personality of a bucket.

    Dr is jealous. Why the hell? There's only two types of relationship? Very poor writing

    I wasn't saying it didn't. :confused: I just think it's disappointing to see a lot of people turn away from the show when a hip, trendy looking young fella isn't in the title role. I kinda like it because it separates the window shoppers from the actual fans, but it's still sorta disappointing.
