I would love for him to return to EE! I know a lot of Casualty fans must be gutted that he's leaving. There's always going to be people complaining that EE isn't great at any given time, even during times when it's actually quite good. However, it really is in bad shape at the moment, so I wonder if he'd be willing to return right now.
Indeed - I think working on a 'continuing drama' be it Casualty or EE, is pretty demanding at the best of times, so he may just want to do his own thing for a while. It would be great if he did return to EE at some point though - he thought he was absolutely splendid last year, but who nows what would happen if he was there long-term again and the character got dragged into the tedious ongoing plotlines they seem to specialise in nowadays... :rolleyes:
I'm going to fall down dead if he returns to EE again. I'm going to get my head in a pessimistic mind set and pretend that him leaving Casualty doesn't up the odds for him to return to EE. I actually think I might explode otherwise.

I thought he's bi-sexual ? But whatever his persuasion it'd be great if he came back to EE... or made a new series of 'Crime Traveller'.
