At the end of the first season it was announced to return in January. However, Channel Five then came out and said they weren't happy with its place in the scheduling (due to poor figures), and I think this has led to a rethink about its return date. Tuesdays at 9 is so competitive, I know myself I sky plus two or three things for this hour and have to do at least one from +1 channels, so maybe this is a good idea for 5. Mondays or Wednesdays may suit it better.
It was just getting really good too! Possibly my favourite tv show when they stopped it.Channel 5 don't seem to really care about the schedule for their few good shows.
See post above, it's definitely back in the next couple of weeks as they confirmed it in a press release today.
I think January 27 at 9pm but exact date and time will be confirmed on Wednesday.
I really hope your right but if CH5 originally said they were unhappy with viewing figures due to it previously being in a competitive slot then would a 9pm Sunday slot be any better with the likes of Ripper Street, Mr Selfridge and Hawaii Five-0?
Not that I really care though cos I just want it back on and I have Tivo :D

Where did you read this? CH5 website just says it isn't scheduled -

According to Geektown it could be between March and June -

If it is between March and June CH5 have dropped a real changer IMO.
when the program is available elsewhere, ad free and in HD now they need to be showing it sooner rather Han later, we are already a year behind...

Yeah I saw that too. I can't see it being moved to the Sunday slot though.
If they have any sense they'll show season 2 straight afterwards. This is quite simply the best show on TV at the moment.
Totally agree.
Without spoiling, the rest of Season one and Season two (so far) is superb. Some excellent acting and brilliant twists.
I clocked this also last night, Sunday PM might fit well for the show in terms of viewing figures.
Hopefully they'll follow with the second season rather swiftly so we're not left with a large gap with the states.
