I kind of met Ray Quinn in a lift when he was in the final week with Leona. Me and my mate saw an ITV van outside the Met Quater in Liverpool and went in to have a look, the crowd was huge so we decided to go the loo and go, then when we were in the lift a security man came in and said 'Sorry ladies you'll have to get out' and we were like what? Then Ray got in with a camera crew and we were like WOAH! We were on the Xtra Factor looking like idiots for that!
I have watched all five series of the X Factor and never properly met any of the acts, bar nearly walking straight into 2 To Go at a G4 gig! I also got my tour programme signed by G4 but never met them.
I saw Dirty Dancing last night and Cassie from series 1 was in it (she was fantastic!) - I was walking past the stage door a bit later and she came out, so I told her I thought she was brilliant in the X Factor. I was only about 10 at the time!

Don't know if I've ever mentioned this, but I've met Steve Brookstein!
Have been backstage twice, chatted with him (with a whole gaggle of fans!) several times after gigs and once 'til about 6 in the morning!! He even bought my friend and I a bottle of wine once.
He's a top bloke with a wicked sense of humour and what you see is what you get- he's a diamond!
P.S. AND Brenda- she was at an album launch where Steve was singing this- very catchy:
