How about getting some plain bagels, slice them in half. Then spread some cream cheese like Philidelphia then place a sliver of smoked salmon on top.

Cream cheese and smoked salmon is a great combo, I hate salmon by itself.

I think its nice with just some buttered brown bread thinly sliced, and maybe a few salad bits.

I saw a TV chef (think it was Jamie Oliver) do it with cucumber ribbons and drizzled with creme fraiche and lemon juice - that looked really light and refreshing:p
