I'm with you on that, I absolutely detest fresh coriander!

I regularly go in Itsu for lunch as it's next door to work, but I can only have about 5 things in there because all the salads are full of coriander!

I love it but apparently some people have a gene which makes it taste like soap to them. Apparently most people can't stand it in Italy as an example

I like the way it can be used as both a sweet or savoury spice. Cinnamon gets put in everything. I don't mind that either. But nutmeg should be banned. It has a foul aftertaste that you can still taste tomorrow.

Me too. I absolutely loathed it, now I like it, although I wouldn't say I love it - too much can be overpowering.

I hate it. I react to it in a similar way to the little silver balls on cakes when they hit a filling.
    Can't eat it. Ever.

I do really like coriander - but I hate lemongrass and its in so many dishes, I've discovered it in fish cakes, in sauces all sorts of potentially lovely dishes ruined.

I really like coriander, both fresh (e.g. in soups) and ground seeds. I like lemongrass too. And nutmeg.

Adore it - but I remember the first time I tasted it!:D

I use it every week - fortunately the family love it too but my mother in laws hates it!:( she's Turkish & I take sealed bags with me as I'm veggie and need herbs & spices.

Tried it when I was a kid and thought it tasted like privet. :P

Love it now and always order coriander naan and like extra coriander in my curry.

It's funny how you're taste buds change as you get older.

I hated beef fat as a kid as well but now I love it.

Could murder a fatty Kobe beef sirloin steak right now.

Never tried Kobe beef but it looks so good.

I must have that gene... cilantro tastes like perfumed soap :(

I had had an ex-girlfriend from a Hispanic background that used it all the time, even guacamole.. drove me mad :(

I don't like cinnamon in savoury dishes. Love it in sweet things though.

Can't stand anything with anise flavour in savoury dishes.

I hate how so many fish dishes are to me, overpowered and ruined by fennel. :(

    I like liquorice though.
