What about a Romulan ? ' The Balance of Terror' and the cloaking device thing ? Benedict Cumberbatch would make a good Romulan. Mark Leonard played the lead Romulan originally, then he was a Vulcan - as Spock's dad and he also played a Klingon.
Oops ! I saw him at a few Star Trek conventions.( He always carried a carrier bag. We used to wonder what was in it.)
