To be "fair and balanced" it also goes on to list what viewers of other channels believe.
Those who watch the right-leaning channel also believe the stimulus caused job losses, their income taxes have gone up and scientists don't think climate change is occurring.
A new study reports that Fox News viewers are "significantly more likely" to believe false information about political issues.
To be "fair and balanced" it also goes on to list what viewers of other channels believe.

Yet another FOX bashing thread then
For the millionth time, FOX News has a few (That's a few) shows where anchors give their opinion. All the others present straight news.
Don't suppose that will stop some believing it's all biased or posting a link to that Outfoxed rubbish to try & prove their point though
Please show where the OP's report about Fox News viewers is false. Because if you can, you're welcome to say it's Fox bashing. I suspect you can't though.
Also, please point out the false information in Outfoxed, because again, you can only rubbish it if its rubbish. Evidence or stfu.
That is shocking and it's an indictment of the lack of critical thinking (and intellect) of those who watch these channels and these pernicious channels themselves which confuse news and comment and also present slanted news stories a la Russia Today.
i recall the daily show pretty much tearing that apart awhile ago, showing some pretty biased stuff during "news hours."
also this recent 9/11 healthcare bill and there lack of coverage (plus lack of blame to the republicans ) especially when compared to there over of the mosque near ground zero is a disgrace.
anyone who watches fox news for any other reason than to laugh or see how not to make the news needs there head looking at imo
Saying something a million times doesn't make it any more true or any less stupid. It is, however, a favourite tactic of Fox News.
If the politics section is anything to go by.
Is that why we have the money, and the poor are Labour voters?
"The more a person watched and read the news, the less likely they were to have been misled about the facts. But “there were however a number of cases where greater exposure to a news source increased misinformation on a specific issue,” the study’s authors wrote. In particular, they found that regular viewers of the Fox News Channel, which tilts to the right in prime time, were significantly more likely to believe untruths about the Democratic health care overhaul, climate change and other subjects.
The study found other cases where greater exposure to media meant greater misinformation on a subject. Regular viewers of MSNBC, which tilts to the left in prime time, were 34 percentage points more likely than nonviewers to believe “that it was proven that the U.S. Chamber of Commerce was spending money raised from foreign sources to support Republican candidates.” Consumers of public broadcasting were 25 points more likely to believe the same."

The perfect recipe for cattle voters.
Get real, the entire network is biased.
All of the news stories are critical of the democrats, all of the anchors support the Republican's policies and the anchors air their personal approval of those policies, most of the guests they have on the channel are republican politicians, right wing celebrities and people from right wing think tanks. Whenever there are left wing people on the channel they are spoken to very rudely, routinely interrupted and in some cases shouted out. They have republican politicians who are payed by Fox News as pundits (eg. Sarah Palin) and they also fund conservative/republican meetings and campaigns.
To say that only a few air their personal opinions with the rest of the news being balanced is completely bogus.
Ah so that's why Mr Colmes has his own show on Fox News, he's a Democrat supporter on the whole.
At the end of that day, before Fox News came along there was a gaping hole in the market with most news outlets and all tv news channels being left leaning over there. Good old Rupie saw the gap and has made a killing, as he usually does.
you can trust greed and you know with Murdoch It's all about the $$$.
And so is the BBC utterly Bias in everything it does.
From Homosexual propaganda, to promoting the green agenda, Obabama love ins to blatant socialist biased views and love for the EU project.
What BBC lovers hate, really hate about Fox, is it reminds them how Biased the BBC is too. The BBC and Fox are two cheeks of the same arse. Both as bad as each other.
Just look at yourslef. A screaming left winger, who loves the BBC< but can see no bias in the BBC? Jeeze man, look in the mirror for once and see what we all see.
You and the BBC are as Biased as Fox news. We can all see it, so grow up and accept it. Stop trying to pretend the BBC is wonderful and level playing field, it is not.
I watch neither, so am better than that.
....and tuition fees. The number of times I've heard presenters and commentators saying 'tripled' and '£9,000', both of which are inaccurate and/or misleading.
Considering those are the figures quoted in all other UK news coverage, including commercial TV mews and all newspapers, accusing the BBC alone of bias in this regard is more than a little disingenuous.
'Homosexual propaganda' - really? Evidence please. Unless you're confusing the notion of what propaganda actually is with some dramas featuring homosexual characters. If it's simply the latter, then your comment says more about you than the BBC.
"Promoting the green agenda"? Ah, do you mean reporting scientific concensus? Right-ho.
In fact evidence for the rest of that sentence as well.
And the reporter on BBC News yesterday subtley pointing out that the weather was disrupting many people's "festive shopping" That'll be Christmas shopping to normal people then.
Gosh, are they not mentioning Christmas at all? Because I was watching the BBC Breakfast this morning as I got ready for work, and I could have sworn there were repeated uses of the word 'Christmas' in a number of different stories.
But you're right. One use of the word 'Festive' must be a salvo in the continuing BBC socialist pinko politically correct War On Christmas.
You know if I had been watching I really wouldn't have noticed that piece of blatant political corectness. I hadn't realised that everyone using the term festive was pandering to ethnic minorities. Thanks for pointing out.

Plenty out there if you google "fox news internal memos"
Yes, we can tell you watch neither!:D
BBC is impartial, Fox isn't........ Simples.
I think you should start watching Fox News because they sing from the same hymn sheet you do^.
What on earth has the BBC got to do with it. The BBC isn't biased at all. Maybe some people think that it is biased due to the fact that there is such a strong right wing media in this country, the neutral BBC looks biased because it has to be critical to all sides and some right-wing people aren't used to having their political ideaology questioned.
Please don't make assumptions about me from my post. That's like me making the assumption that you're a typical angry conservative who has a chip on their shoulder. But that wouldn't be true would it.
