I really enjoyed the first show - for me, Caroline and Frankie were the class acts, and Simon gets my woobie vote. Mark continues to be forgettable.
I've voted for Caroline , but I honestly won't mind if either Frankie or Simon beats her to the glitter ball. I know a lot of people have moaned about this series, but I've enjoyed it a lot.
Frankie - loved the dance but like Craig, I got distracted by the bench stuff. As much as I love Sound of Music that was the scene I always FF as I hate it there as well.
As much as I've loved Caroline's dancing lately I have to say I was disappointed by the showdance. I really don't like all that ballet type stuff and I felt she'd been carried a lot through it. Wanted to see her really come out and show what's she's improved on.
Mark's dance didn't wow me but it was ok.
Simon definitely has improved loads and loved the mix of dances were superb. I thought it was amazing and certainly a showstopper.
Think the final three will be Simon, Frankie and Caroline.... hope so at least
I thought leaderboard was correct. I gave 2 votes to Caroline and 1 to Simon. I have a feeling Frankie is going to win though. Don't think she deserves to.
If MDF does leave after the 1st two dances will the Beeb announcer have to come on and tell everyone the remaining programs will be running late due to his farewell speech?

I have never understood announcing the top 3 winner. It makes the final feel unfinished. I doubt BBC will listen though. So after tonight will most like write another complaint to BBC.

Just wanted to say that I think the stylists for Tess and Claudia (and Zoe) deserve a round of applause. Vastly superior dress choices for Tess in particular this series.

If Caroline gets higher than Frankie or vice versa they get the best average score as a dancer.
