Have you tried the usual stuff like running in compatibility mode, running as administrator and verifying the game files?

I fixed it, turning of Steam overlay did it.

    Mirror's Edge £2 a must :)

    So far I've bought:-

    Bully
    Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon
    GRID Autosport
    Pool Nation
    Postal 2
    Ziggurat

First games I've bought since last year's Winter sale. New graphics card has inspired me to buy some games.

    It's a really good game :) I think you'll enjoy it.

I did have a problem with mine though, the game wouldn't launch with a game pad plugged into the PC, I have to plug the controller in after the game has launched. Just thought I'd mention that in case you have similar problems :)

It's pretty cool. It's not the BEST game ever by a long way, but it *feels* like Ghostbusters, and it sounds like that's what you're after. I really must get round to finishing it at some point; I liked it a lot.

I bought this as well and am happy with what it is. I have to say though I dislike the voice acting. The voices are all the original actors (i think) but they speak so slow it is irritating and dont match up with what is happening. Buildings are crumbling around them and bill murray is acting like he is relaxing with coffee and cigarettes

With just repeat deals left, looks like I will have spent more on Origin than Steam over Christmas, I kind of feel dirty :/ The prices on reseller sites have been cheaper for the most part though, Steam sales just aren't the wallet emptying experience any more.

Didn't end up buying myself any big name titles, but accumulated quite a lot because it was cheap.

Most looking forward to out of what I bought:
    The Abbey
    Toy Soldiers
    A Vampyre Story
Euro Truck Simulator 2 - Trucking Fan DLC Bundle

Bought because they were cheap and I don't have them yet, everything under 30p:
    War Operations
    Clans
    Vegas - Make It Big

Bought because they were cheap and have cards. I like cards. Eveything under £1 :
    Season Match 3
    Robotex
    Over The Void
    The Treasures of Montezuma 3
    Season Match 2
    Season Match
    Battle Mages: Sign of Darkness
    Moonbase Commander
    Echelon: Wind Warriors
    Echelon
    Bit.Trip.Flux
    Winter Voices: Avalanche (Prologue)

    Received as gifts:
    Plague Inc: Evolved
    Never Alone (Kisima Ingitchuna)
    Goodbye Deponia

Hope everyone is pleased with what they got. :)

Only one I picked up in the sale was Shadow Of Mordor with the season pass, normally I will get about 3-4 games in the sale but thought there wasn't much decent on offer that appealed to me.

It's great! I was playing it just before Christmas whilst tuned into the one of internet radio stations. Was driving across a huge bridge near Rotterdam as the sun was coming up with Slade's Merry Christmas Everybody blasting out. It put a big smile on my face. :)

Only bought one item...Garry's Mod at £1.49.

Was tempted by Prison Architect, but was put off by the implied incessant micro-management game-play. I like to play MY way!

Off back to playing Far Cry 4 :D

Bit of an early Christmas treat, should keep my PC at the top of it's game for a good few years. ;-)

I dithered over whether to buy GT Legends or GTR2 (and install the Power and the Glory mod. on it), when both were on sale for 99p, but ended up buying neither of them. Maybe next time.

I'm really enjoying GRID Autosport. At first I thought it was going to be far too difficult for me, but I've stuck at it, and now I think it's a great racer. I appreciate the stripped down menu screens, too. It just lets you get on with the gameplay, with minimal fuss.
