Good idea?

Well what i tend to do is unplug the main socket and put the filter and the broadband in the test socket and then the face plate in the router(okay it doesnt look good but..) It does make my broadband connect faster from 3.9 to 4.3. The main faceplate is connected to all the other sockets in the house and if the faceplate is not plugged in the phones do not work but when it is plugged into the filter which is plugged into the test socket it is fine...

With this set up ad all the phones going through the filter on the main plate, would i need filters on any other sockets?
