New haircut and no glasses. She just looked so exquisitely elegant when she read the news on Monday. A fantastic lady.

I thought she looked a bit strange without the glasses. Kind of like someone who's been wearing glasses, and then suddenly, stops wearing them.

I thought she looked very uncomfortable, peering at the Autocue, through half-closed eyes.

The new hair is an improvement though.

Either contacts or laser treatment but looks better without them imo

Still seven feet tall? Check.

Will take a bit more than a pair of contacts and a haircut to remodel the Silverback.

I loved her glasses, they really suited her.

I will miss them.

Her hair was nice though.

Maybe she took notice that viewers found her to be too austere

She is a very good news reader and presenter. I am glad that Kate Silverton stayed with current affairs and not tried to cross over like Penny Smith did.

She looked stunning when she was interviewed recently at the races (Epsom) with Nick Knowles. But I think she looks prettier with her with her glasses on,

Not too sure about the new barnet.

I think you tend to get used to seeing somebody with glasses on when they've been wearing them for a long time, so it looks a bit strange when they get rid of them.

Kate was looking good at Ascot on Tuesday as well

I remember those days, one in particular when she was discussing (1) her lips - being asked if she'd had surgery on them (100% natural btw) and (2) her breasts - not interested in enlargements as she's more than happy with their current pertness (100% agree btw).
