Wow, that must have been a really thin mouse.

A mouse can squeeze itself through a hole the width of a pencil - they used to sneak into my rabbit's cage through very fine mesh.

Me too!! It's my first pet and I'm very excited.
What breed are you getting? I'm getting two Russian Dwarves :)

AArghhh, i had one of these. Horrible little things that you can't keep hold of. It bit me constantly ........ luckily it died fairly quickly.

And i hope your keeping it in a fish tank (minus the water of course), cos they can get through the bars of the normal cages you keep hamsters in.

Anyway, back on topic...cc has no intentions of getting a hamster...and if he does, whats the betting that next week his latest thread will be "dead hamster found in cage...what do i do! :D
Chris will have a "my hamster shit everywhere" thread by then:p

Shall we have a bet?? :D

I've heard Russians can be very nasty and don't tame as easily as Syrians. TBH you're better getting just one Syrian hamster.

No. Bus fares or mini-cab fares are a lot. She's only charging me £5 both ways door-to-door.
    Chris, you're a nutter! :D

I think you should call it Freddie, after ''Freddie Starr ate my hamster'.

Did you get rid of the trampoline yet?

Actually those two options are FAR to sensible.

Mouse gang kidnapped hamster and telephoned from park

When you say "hut", do you mean shed?

Why? £8 in a mini-cab as it's on a housing estate that I'm not familiar with and a good walk from a bus-stop he says. So, £5 both ways, door-to-door is okay for me. She's tired after work so won't take me for nothing!

I had a russian hamster. He was a happy little guy, he ran on top of his wheel instead of inside it.

"Hamster ran off with my wife" is more likely :D

Yes, want to air it off. Had some food too but slung it as it was 5 years old. Better get fresh Harry Hamster.

    Watch this space...

The "Bought a New Hoover" thread will appear shortly and all will be revealed :D

I don't think you've bought a new hoover at all.
    You're just making it up:)
