A couple of people have said "if this was women rather than men there would be uproar", then someone mentioned Miss World and Britain's Next Top Model. Essentially both of these (in the case of BNTM the tests included) fit this "He's Fit" concept already. To be honest, this concept would likely be a BBC3 Tuesday night thing (like "Don't tell the Bride") or on Living (like "Four Weddings"), but it's definitely for the younger viewer.
A lot of women prefer to look at the female form than the male form...and that's including the straight ones!!! Naked men just don't do it a lot of the time..they can look funny.
It would only be looking at the most shallow concept of what is attractive. The kind of guy who would be (a) selected and (b) agree to do such a show is the kind of guy that I wouldn't go near with a disinfected barge pole!
I just think there should be a male model version of ANTM/BNTM. You would have all the "fit" and "scantily-dressed" men there. I think it would really work.
Nah. Not only does it sound slightly cruel and offensive, but it sounds really boring and not very original. Also you're gonna blatantly end up with a bunch of shiny, orange, waxed, plucked, posers which is not everyone's idea of fit.

Have you seen the average 'top male model'? I dont want to see most of them naked.
do people say 'fit' anymore? Most people my age (18-22) say 'hot' nowadays.
Gosh. How times have changed.
The programme sounds very ITV. (ie: would have been on C4 at 11pm on a Friday, a few years back). Sad to say, I am sure there would be an audience for it.
I am not a producer but if I was I would commission this show RIGHT NOW. A few questions though:
What channel could you see it on? And the timeslot?
You mention the guys would be "tested" (you actually typed teasted - but I know what you meant) what sort of tests could you see them going through?
What would the winners get?
Would the show accept sob stories? For example, a guy who is totally not fit is out shopping and normally he'd be dismissed but he's out buying clothes to console himself because his dog just got ran over. Would he get through to the lives?
And how did you come up with all of this??
The winner gets model deal with top mag and £100,000 pounds.
No sob stories of ugly lads, just pure fit all the way.
Look lets face it, sex sells, I mean the x factor allways has a crap lad/s who keep getting the teen lust vote every year!
You could make a show called "He's having a fit", where you gather a bunch of epilepsy sufferers in the same room..
Or how about "Fit Him Up" where teams of serving police officers compete to select good-looking black and Asian lads at random off the street and pin the most crimes on them...? Oh no, sorry, the Met already has the copyright on that...
And what's with this po-faced bleat about sexualising men some poster had? As a self-confident gay man, I've devoted my life to it...!
The thing is though as soon as a bloke starts prancing around in his undies and modelling, they kind of lose their appeal to a lot of women. The most attractive men are those that do not know (or are extremely good at seeming not to know) how gorgeous they are or they have a sense of humour about their good looks. There's something girly about competing to be 'fittest bloke'. No matter how full of muscles or good looking a man is, as soon as he starts putting up selfies in a ridiculous pose or with oil on his body, it's a complete turn off for me.
Hi, Ive got an idea for a new tv reality show, I wont give away all the details incase someone steals it but....
Its called HE'S FIT, and each week the show goes to a new town or city in the main shopping street searching for fit lads who just happen to be there shoping.
The winners of that round are then taking to LONDON for the live show rounds, where the guys are teasted in various ways but allways looking fit and sexy with little clothes on.
Would you watch such a show?
Not really as if it was women in skimpy clothing it would be deemed sexist and exploitative
Comments
might wanna change the name though
And no,Miss World doesnt count. It isnt shown in many countries due to feminist sensitivities.
YES.

but what happens at the end, like what do they win!?
yes!!!!!
I'd go back to the drawing board.
That's the one I was thinking of

Ah yes, but who said life was fair?:D
Their are many ways to test a lads abilities:D.
I'm pretty sure in Portugal we did.
I remember something about a contest like this where they eliminated guys by throwing them into a pool.
edit: I was talking about Man O Man.
It aired on ITV apparently. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Man_O_Man
