It's pretty wild in Belfast right now.

Looks like a stormy night for some with 80mph gusts in the North West. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-11734050

(Yes but that will teach me to have beans for breakfast)

It's been cold and rainy all day in Swindon.

I presume it's windy but haven't gone outside to check.

Was raining heavily this morning, and freezing. Then the sun came out and it was actually quite pleasant for a couple of hours, now however, the wind is back, it's cold and it has started raining again :(

Yes, very. We're expected to get gusts of up to 54 mph overnight, (London) although not as bad as up north. They're set to get hit hard.

Yes, windy and stormy (especially last night) in West Cornwall. Has slightly died down as I write this.

i live by the sea so we are used to gales but this is very bad today.
even the windows are shaking the force of the wind and the sea itself is coming right up onto the road.

The winds been rather bad here... adding the rain has had me call off my trip to the library and do some 'work' at home instead :D

Calmed down a bit now, but very windy earlier, I suspect it's having a rest whilst waiting for me to start my journey home :(

Very stormy in N.Down with heavy horizontal rain and the coastal road flooded , there have been a few rocks threw into my garden from the sea already.

Last time it was this windy I was walking home when one of those vinyl greenhouses went flying across the main road frightening the life out of an Arriva bus driver. There was a satellite dish sitting in a field further on, some fences broken and half a tree in my driveway.

    And rightly so.

Last year at my old school a tree fell down and a bit of roof fell off due to high winds. It was lucky no one died.
