This morning on Heart (London) they played :
9.45 am - "Summer Nights" Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta.
9.55 am - "Summer Nights" Olivia Newton-John and John Tavolta.
Both times, the end was cut off (when the slow part starts)
WTF ?? THE SAME SONG PLAYED TWICE ??
:mad::mad:
This is not the first time this has happened.

Nobody cares.
Can a moderator move this highly annoying thread into the other annoying heart bashing thread?

Sadly it's yet another sad attempt to bash.
No, it's not the first time is it?
You've been caught lying before.
Quite pathetic.
The North West DAB version replaces adverts with a track, or it did last time I listened. It could be that the break filler track was Summer Nights. In that case it's quite possible that the same track was heard twice within minutes.
So he wasn't lying lol?
No, Heart do it all the time on DAB.
Is the music policy the same on the London Heart to other Hearts? It always sounds really naff on digital but the local shows on FM seem to play, pardon the pun, more music variety. Is this to keep Ofcom happy with the old station formats? I've noticed it here (103.4) as well as in Somerset, Bristol and East Anglia.
Why would "Summer Nights" be played next to Christmas songs anyway??!!
Andy Birkenhead has previous when it comes to making up nonsense on DS.

This is my final word on the subject. I am sick of you lot calling me a liar.
I HEARD WHAT I HEARD.
Sure you did.
Whatever
Heart have commercial break fillers on their DAB services outside of London, including the track that you heard (twice). I too have heard them do this - but that would make me a liar as well.
It's not that I'm taking them seriously. It really annoys me that I am simply posting what I heard this morning and they are saying that I didn't hear it.
Goodness me. You listen to Heart?
I thought you thought you were far too good to listen to mere "moronic" commercial radio?
On the couple of occasions (and only a couple) that I heard Heart, yes!
As for moronic commercial radio, I still wouldn't be listening to your shows on the commercial stations in the north-east of Scotland that you're on. It's not because I think of you as a bad presenter but because I think you could be in a better place.;)
I stand by Andy - and the post from yourself (and a few others) really does not surprise me in the slightest.
You didn't hear it - that's what is annoying.
Just like you didn't hear the song you claimed you heard on Heart last week - remember?
Someone on here actually downloaded an MP3, someone else proved the playlist, and a third person downloaded the information RadioMonitor.
They proved you to be a liar.
You're obviously hearing things - but not on Heart.
Lots like the Heart station so it has a reason to exist.
Errr, I'm not in Scotland - north-east or otherwise.
I've been to Aberdeen - but only once. It was too cold.
You must have me mixed up with someone else.
And, yes, I am in a much better place.
